Private Equity Real Estate
Investor Relations / Client Management
$7,000 - 7,500 per month
The organisation is a well-established, boutique Real Estate fund manager comprising Core, Opportunistic and Separate Account fund strategies and with a diversified portfolio of assets (logistics, office, retail, student accommodation, DC and hospitality) located across the first-tier APAC markets. The platform is looking to grow its IR/Client Management team and this includes the appointment of a Portfolio Analyst.
Reporting to the Head of Investor Relations, whilst working collaboratively within a lean client servicing team and external fund/investment/asset management colleagues, the appointed individual will enjoy an evolving workscope. Initially, considerable focus will be given to building appropriate back-office data-sets relating to each fund under management whilst establishing and implementing associated financial data collection processes. As custodian for portfolio reporting, the scope will then gradually evolve into a role that collates, analyses and reports upon the financial performance of each fund portfolio further supported by detailed asset-level analysis. The resulting reports will be disseminated to existing international investors whilst also supporting pitch books for presentation to new ones. Increasingly, the appointed individual will receive and manage investor queries whilst also responding to RFI/RFP requests.
Why consider this position: this a super opportunity for an early-career real estate financial analyst, fund administrator or portfolio analyst to support a growing PERE platform whilst pivoting towards client management/investor relations.
Interested candidates will offer a good Degree (Real Estate, Finance/Economics), around 3 years’ experience gained within data/client management or real estate fund or REIT analysis and preferably supported by a sound understanding of PERE. Aside from a sound and detailed sensitivity to financial analysis, interested individuals should offer first-class verbal and written communication skills and equally strong interpersonal skills. In the first instance, interested candidates must be willing to commence within a back-office focused position before supporting ned-to-end client management after around 12 months.
