Job description

  • Global Real Estate Investor
  • Investment / Asset Management / Portfolio Management
  • Location: Singapore

The Company

The company is an aggressively expanding institutional investor underpinned by substantial balance sheet and a growing pool of third-party capital. Funds under management have grown to an impressive $10bn+ in short time and with plans for similar growth to continue. It is now poised to appoint a number of professionals by early 2022 including multiple Analyst / Associate positions to support Investment, Asset and Portfolio management respectively.

The Positions

Based in Singapore, and reporting to respective Department Heads, each appointee will support direct and indirect investments, JVs and co-investments whilst supporting either Investment (robust research/market analysis for deal underwriting and transactions execution including presentation of Investment Memos), Asset Management (asset-level performance analysis, sustainability/ESG and AEI initiatives) and/or portfolio-level analytics (gap analysis, fund performance metrics, investment/divestment impact analysis, forecasting and reporting). Necessarily, all three appointments will include a need to perform in-depth financial modelling and analysis, tracking of initiatives and reporting to senior management.

These are outstanding opportunities for rising stars seeking a high-growth, pan-Asia platform that promise rich long-term scope for personal and professional development.

The Person

Interested candidates will offer a good Degree in Real Estate/Economics/Finance/Business whilst offering around 3-7 years appropriate experience and track record within a real estate investment/asset management environment. Prior international investment or asset portfolio exposure in Australia, Korea, Japan or broader markets outside of Singapore is strongly preferred whilst candidates who have studied and/or worked overseas, and now seek a return to Singapore, will similarly be favoured. The appointed individuals will be collaborative yet able to work independently whilst offering a combination of strong analytical and communication skills including broad stakeholder engagement. Please note that an ability and willingness to travel on a regular basis is essential.
