The Company
The organisation is a global FMCG solutions services firm with strong presence in Asia Pacific and including a long history in Myanmar. It now wishes to appoint a suitably seasoned expatriate as Assistant General Manager (AGM) to steer the Sales and Client Management department to support the Consumer Goods division.

The Position
Reporting to, and working closely with, the General Manager, the AGM will be responsible for driving the sales, profitability, and in-store execution for its clients’ sales channels. Furthermore, the AGM will play a crucial role in the development of customer strategy with key retailers, trade partners and traditional trade customers whilst ensuring alignment with overall sales / marketing and expansion strategy of each customer within its client cluster. The AGM will be in control of the operational budgets and cost, sales forecast, and reporting processes/ activities. There will be a need to develop sale strategies and implement short/long-term sales plans based on the changing market conditions. Concurrently, the AGM will lead and guide resolutions of complex customer issues whilst overseeing the development and improvement of continuous sales processes, plans and customer satisfaction.

The Person

It is anticipated that the successfully-appointed candidate will offer at least 10 years of working experience gained from a noted FMCG company and with a proven track record of managing the sales and client management department. The AGM will be a credible professional with advanced leadership, commercial strategic thinking, negotiation and analytical skills as well as a proven sales track record. The role will be based in Yangon, Myanmar and offers an attractive salary, accommodation and transportation allowance.
