The Company 

The organisation is a noted multi-sector listed conglomerate boasting multiple successful international business divisions. Its core real estate business comprises traditional and alternative real estate investments complete with integrated operational/sustainability solutions. Its flagship investment platform has recently launched an Education-focused Fund and for which there is a need to appoint an experienced Investment Manager to manage full life-cycle investment transactions and operational asset management.

The Position

Located in Singapore and enjoying APAC coverage, the appointed individual will enjoy a full life-cycle role to identify potential education-related investment opportunities (K12, Private University, and similar), undertake deal underwriting, IC presentations and deal structuring/completion (financial/tax/legal) for open- and off-market opportunities whilst preparing for post-investment integration, asset management and performance monitoring through to divestment as appropriate. There will be a need to support investor-relations / capital-raising with the development of fund/deal pitchbooks as well as portfolio performance queries.

The Person

Interested candidates are expected to offer a Degree in Finance, Business Administration or Real Estate and around 8-10 years’ relevant experience secured within regional Real Estate investment and/or Private Equity (the latter with a preference toward the acquisition of education platforms). Interested candidates should be highly self-motivated whilst offering exceptional strategic-thinking, financial modelling, communication and negotiation skills and an ability to operate under tight deadlines.
