Job description

  • Integrated Real Estate Fund, Investment & Development Platform

  • Market Coverage: Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam

  • Salary: $130-160k plus Bonus

The Company

The organisation is an exceptional international Group that has enjoyed stellar growth across APAC in recent years whilst driving investment and/or development of industrial & logistics assets on behalf of its institutional investors. It has built a regional portfolio in excess of US$12.5bn whilst its continuous growth, underpinned by existing and forthcoming capital for deployment, translates to a need to bolster the team. This includes the appointment of a Deputy Fund Manager.

The Position

Based in Singapore, whilst reporting to a seasoned Fund Manager and closely collaborating with an acquisitions team, the successfully appointed individual will enjoy well-rounded responsibility to support its Funds in SG, Malaysia and Vietnam. The position is likely to evolve and grow significantly over time. The initial scope will include monitoring all critical investment, development, asset management and financial objectives to ensure alignment with investment strategy as well as the oversight of day-to-day operations of each Fund. This will include analysis of acquisition/divestment financial models relating to IRR/NPV forecasts, impact analysis upon fund performance as well as deal structuring/terms negotiation, strategic direction relating to asset budget and portfolio performance management to drive ROI, collaboration with finance to examine initiatives to maximise returns, fund valuations and investment presentations. Aside from investor communications, the appointed individual will also engage heavily with other key internal and external stakeholders (investment, development and asset management teams, the Executive Management team as well as external consultants and banking partners).

The People

Interested candidates will offer a good Degree in Real Estate/Finance/Economics and at least 10+ years’ relevant fund/portfolio management experience. Prior exposure to Industrial or Logistics assets, including development assets would be advantageous although relevant experience across other RE assets is welcomed. Ideally, interested individuals will offer strong exposure to the SE Asia markets bi-lingual English and a successful track record of completed investment transactions.

The position will suit a highly-driven individual seeking a collegial, collaborative and empowered team environment with ongoing professional coaching and mentoring to allow for planned career growth.
