The Company 

The organisation is a well-established, boutique Real Estate fund manager comprising Core, Opportunistic and Separate Account fund strategies and with a diversified portfolio of assets (logistics, office, retail, student accommodation, DC and hospitality) located across the first-tier APAC markets. The platform is looking to bolster its team and which includes the appointment of an experienced PERE fund-raising professional. Analyst/Senior Analyst or Associate to support investment deal underwriting and asset/portfolio management.

 

The Position       

Reporting to the Head of Investor Relations, whilst closely collaborating with the senior fund management team, the appointed individual will undertake end-to-end capital-raising and investor relationship management for a suite of existing fund strategies (from Core to Opportunistic). This will consist of sourcing and onboarding new institutional investors whilst planning and participating in investor roadshows, building appropriate pitchbook materials, arranging asset tours as well as investor/client servicing; the latter will include managing communications including fund/product and quarterly performance updates whilst providing insight with respect to APAC investment outlook. The appointed individual will also respond to proposed fund/project/funding proposals and build appropriate responses to RFI/RFP requests. An adjunct to the position will be the need to gather and disseminate market and competitor data across the PERE sector whilst providing internal insights with respect to trends, sector development and the potential impact upon company growth and/or fund performance.

The Person 

Interested candidates will offer a good Degree (Real Estate, Finance/Economics, Marketing & Communications) around 8+ years working experience and a minimum of 5+ years exposure pitching to institutional investors (pension funds, insurance groups, multi-managers and similar) preferably including broad international coverage. This will have been secured within Private Equity Real Estate and underpinned by an assured confidence of taking the lead with respect to frontline investor pitches, strategy discussion and terms negotiation.
