The Company


This is an exceptional ‘pioneering’ opportunity to join a heavyweight international real estate investor, developer and fund manager as it enters Thailand. Noted for the development industrial & logistics assets and recent pivoting into data centres and renewables, the firm is bolstered by exceptional capital partners which continue to support regional portfolio growth. From a planned base in Bangkok, a number of appointments are anticipated as the company builds a core team for 2022 and beyond. This includes the appointment of a Human Resources Director.


The Position


Reporting to an internationally experienced Country Head, the Human Resource Director will act as a strategic business advisor to the country head and senior managers on HR issues. There will be a need to set up and communicate HR policies and strategies to be aligned with Group’s HR, whilst supporting the senior management team in building a culture of high performance. The HR Director will oversee recruitment/manpower needs of the organization, including the development and update of job description on a regular basis. Naturally there will be a need to provide guidance to line managers on training, career development, disciplinary actions and counselling as well as manage any employee relations issues. The role covers Learning and Development where the successful incumbent will be involve in induction program for new staff, training strategies, evaluation of the training and ensuring training objectives are met.



The Person

Interested candidates are expected to offer a Degree and supporting HR accreditations, complete with 15+ years’ HR experience including demonstrable department leadership and HR support to the business functions. Candidates must have a strong understanding of the Thai Labor Law and industrial regulations. Preferred candidates will have experience working in the Real Estate or Property Industry and first-class English Language proficiency.
