The firm is now embarking upon a major growth of its Asia platform underpinned by a new $1bn Asia Fund. Significant hiring across most core investment and corporate functions is anticipated throughout 2022. This includes a need for a Head of Marketing & Communications for the APAC region.


The Position

Reporting to a US-based Global Head, the appointed individual will enjoy a truly bank canvas opportunity to build a multidisciplinary team whilst leading appropriate marketing and communications strategy for the firm across the Asia region. The immediate mission will be to develop and execute impactful branding, profiling and positioning of the company targeted to attract and partner interest among the large, institutional investor community. The APAC Head will lead a dedicated hub for the Asia business whilst closely collaborating with APAC and Global C-suite to ensure alignment of initiatives, strategic direction and appropriate external messaging. Pivotal activity will be focused toward PR, investor & property marketing and internal communications, crafting collateral and external regional communications across multi-media channels, the development of impactful content and the development and execution of brand campaigns including strategic sponsorships. Naturally, this will require the leadership of a team (PR, events, graphic design and similar), event management, campaign management and associated accountability for budget management, KPI development and financial performance evaluation and spend/returns analysis.

The position may be based in either Singapore or Hong Kong and will suit individuals already located in either location. There may be a need for some travel (25%).


The Person

Interested candidates will offer a Degree in Communications / Marketing, Masters (preferred) and a minimum of 10+ years’ corporate communications experience gained within a noted commercial real estate platform (REIT, Fund, Private Equity, Investor/Developer). It is imperative that candidates should possess extremely strong verbal and written communication skills, the confidence and gravitas to develop strategic marketing and communications initiatives and a proven success in building and leading an integrated team of professionals.
