The Company

Our client is a leading diversified group with established and expanding interests across oil & gas, energy, power, and real estate. As the Group continues to grow its operations and major projects, it is strengthening its Government and Corporate Relations function with four senior appointments.

The Positions

We are seeking four Government Relations Directors to manage and strengthen relationships with key government authorities and external stakeholders. The positions will cover engagement across relevant government ministries and departments, Home Affairs, Police, Military, local and regional authorities, and corporate stakeholders, supporting the Group's businesses and strategic projects.

The Directors will develop stakeholder engagement strategies, facilitate communication and coordination with relevant authorities, support regulatory and administrative matters, and provide guidance to senior management on government and institutional relations. They will work closely with business leaders to support project development, operational requirements, approvals, and other matters requiring effective external stakeholder coordination.

The Person

Candidates should be Myanmar nationals with substantial senior-level experience in government relations, public affairs, corporate affairs, external relations, stakeholder management, or a related function. Strong knowledge of government structures and established experience engaging professionally with relevant ministries, authorities, Police, Military, Home Affairs, and other public-sector stakeholders will be important.

Experience supporting businesses or major projects within oil & gas, energy, power, infrastructure, real estate, construction, or other large-scale industries is strongly preferred. Candidates should understand how to navigate complex stakeholder environments while maintaining appropriate governance, professionalism, and corporate standards.

The successful candidates will be credible senior representatives with strong communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and problem-solving capabilities. They should be comfortable engaging with senior government officials, corporate leaders, and internal management while representing the Group professionally and ethically.
