The Company

The company is a rapidly-growing real estate fund and strategic investment management platform focused toward new economy assets within the emerging markets of SE Asia and India. The firm is sponsored by a noted international Private Equity firm offering a wealth of first-tier experience and track record of success. It now seeks to appoint a Head of Finance offering sound, well-rounded technical pedigree complemented by an energetic and entrepreneurial zest.

The Position

Reporting to the Head of Fund Management, the Head of Finance will oversee the financial operations of the investment funds, including all aspects of fund accounting, valuation, and reporting. This role requires ensuring accurate and timely reporting to investors and maintaining strong relationships with fund administrators, custodians, and other service providers. The Head of Finance will be responsible for maintaining the accounting records for the investment holding entities on a monthly and quarterly basis, preparing consolidated financial statements, and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual group reporting. Additionally, this role involves contributing to the development of financial strategies to ensure alignment with financial management and company goals, as well as providing valuable insights and recommendations through thorough financial analysis and projects. Given the company's current growth phase, the Head of Finance will also be responsible for recruiting and developing a finance team. 

The Person

Interested candidates will ideally offer an Accounting Degree and around 10 years’ post-graduate experience secured within Big Four and Real Estate Fund/PE environments complete with CPA/CA professional accounting qualifications. A self-motivated, organised individual with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, a lively, enquiring mind and a flexible disposition will be essential.
