The Company

Forming part of a PE-driven portfolio, the firm is a clear market-leader in the provision of integrated security and facilities services. It has grown substantially over the last three years and this is set to continue through organic growth, particularly during the country’s present political uncertainty, and the addition of new value-added services. The Group wishes to appoint a Head of Operations to steer its next phase of sustainable growth.

The Position

Reporting to an expatriate General Manager, the appointed individual will hold responsibility to design and implement operation models and establish policies that will promote the culture and vision of the company whilst also upholding profitability. Comprising a team of 1500+ employees across close to 200 sites and supporting high-profile local and international Clients (Private Sector and NGOs), the Head of Operations will be expected to manage strategies to maximize customer satisfaction and service effectiveness and efficiency. There will be a need to co-ordinate with a Quality Assurance Manager to update and revise operating procedures and policies across all service lines including guarding, cash-in-transit, personal security and facilities services.

The Person

Interested candidates should ideally offer a Master’s Degree in Security Management or Business Administration (MBA) with at least 8+ years relevant experience in operations management. Current or prior working exposure in protective security-related fields will be an advantage whilst equally important is a strong record of proven leadership, planning and organizational skills and cross-functional appreciation for business operations. The appointed individual will also offer strong communication skills, decision-making and problem-solving ability with an ability to adapt to a multi-cultural environment. 

In return, the company will offer an attractive salary (cUSD$70-85,000 gross), bonus and schooling (if required).
