The Company

The company is dynamic, well-respected and offers a strong brand presence in Cambodia whilst building a broad portfolio of business interests. Supported by a massive investment commitment, its Retail division will grow at an exponential rate over the next 5 years. Consisting of vertically-integrated shopping centre, supermarket, F&B and leisure and mixed-use components, the firm hopes to become the market-leader across the nation. To enable this, the firm is now seeking to appoint a seasoned Head of E-commerce to set-up their E-commerce business. This is a fantastic ‘blank canvas’ long-term growth opportunity within a fast-expanding, emerging market. 


The Position
Reporting to an international CEO, the successful candidate will primarily drive the set-up of the E-commerce business covering all aspects of their retail platforms and ecosystems. The Head of E-Commerce will have PnL accountability with the need to drive annual revenues, manage expenses and profitability targets. The broad scope will include the overall management and strategic direction of the business, whilst setting up a clear Omni channel vision and strategy to be communicated to various key stakeholders. This includes owning the end-to-end strategy from start to once the solutions has enters production, participating in the site’s financial and technical performance, and collaborating with various stakeholders in identifying any trends or issues. Naturally there will also be the need assess the viability of the business case for the projects as well as identify new growth opportunities.



The Person
Interested candidates will possess a degree with at least 15 years of working experience ideally gained from the Retail sector with prior experience in setting up and managing Omni-Channel or an E-Commerce business platform. To succeed in this role, the successful incumbent must be driven, energetic and have a passion to work in an emerging market. Candidates must have proven track record of working and living in Asia. Equally important will be a need to demonstrate huge enthusiasm and understanding of modern e-commerce trends. In return, the company will offer an attractive package and other benefits.
