The Company
Our client is an established group investing in healthcare and hospital development in Myanmar. With a focus on accessible, sustainable, and high-quality healthcare, the group is developing hospital projects that combine patient-centered care, international standards, and operational excellence.
The Position
Reporting to the Senior Management and Hospital Project Steering Committee, you will support hospital planning, clinical service development, and operational readiness. You will contribute to feasibility studies, clinical department planning, patient care pathways, and workforce requirements, ensuring that medical and operational needs are incorporated into the hospital’s design and development.
Working with doctors, nurses, architects, engineers, and healthcare consultants, you will coordinate clinical requirements across facility layouts, equipment planning, medical technology, and operating procedures. Your responsibilities will also include supporting regulatory compliance, clinical governance, patient safety, and accreditation preparation. As the project progresses toward opening, you will assist with workflow testing, staff orientation, commissioning, and service launch, while monitoring milestones and preparing management reports.
The Person
The ideal candidates must have an MBBS or a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Public Health, Medical Sciences, or a related discipline. Medical candidates should bring 5–10 years of clinical experience, together with exposure to hospital operations or healthcare project development. Candidates from a clinical support or healthcare operations background should have 2–5 years of relevant experience, preferably supporting hospital or clinical projects.
Experience in hospital commissioning, service planning, accreditation, or quality improvement would be advantageous. You should understand hospital operations, clinical workflows, patient safety, and healthcare regulations, with the ability to coordinate effectively across clinical and project teams. Strong communication skills in Burmese and English are required. A relevant postgraduate qualification or certification in hospital administration, healthcare quality, or project management would be an advantage.
