The Company

Our client is a leading property development group with an established portfolio of premium mixed-use, residential, commercial, hospitality, and integrated developments across Myanmar. Renowned for delivering high-quality projects, the organization continues to expand its development pipeline and is seeking an experienced Interior Design Manager to join its in-house design leadership team.

 

The Position

The Interior Design Manager will be responsible for managing the complete interior design process across multiple developments from concept through construction. Working closely with architects, project management, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders, the successful candidate will lead design development, space planning, technical detailing, FF&E, material selection, consultant coordination, and construction implementation while ensuring projects achieve the highest standards of design quality, functionality, technical compliance, and commercial objectives. The role will also support value engineering initiatives, manage design consultants, review technical submissions, and ensure seamless integration between interior design and other design disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.

 

The Person

The successful candidate will possess a Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related discipline, together with 10–15 years of progressive interior design experience gained within reputable property developers, hospitality operators, or leading interior design consultancies. Candidates should demonstrate proven experience delivering premium residential, hospitality, commercial, retail, or mixed-use developments and possess strong capabilities in space planning, interior architecture, FF&E, material specification, technical detailing, consultant management, and site coordination. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and project coordination skills are essential, while proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software will be highly regarded.
