The Company

The firm is a listed Singapore REIT Manager with a stable commercial asset portfolio. Operating a lean team in Singapore whilst supporting its overseas assets, it now seeks an experienced IR/Communications Manager to manage the end-to-end of the function.

The Position

Reporting to the CEO whilst collaborating with finance and asset operations teams and enjoying third-party PR agency support, the successful individual will assume responsibility for delivering key corporate communication and business performance messages to the investor market-place as well as specific financial institutions and shareholders. As such, the role will articulate the company's quarterly and annual financial performance as well as the underlying factors influencing results whilst preparing appropriate reports to internal stakeholders as well as the external financial and investor community. The appointed individual will participate in ad hoc strategic initiatives, oversee the preparation and distribution of the Annual Report and ensure that all corporate messages are delivered in a consistent and accurate manner. Although the role will focus on BAU activity in the near-term, in time the firm will seek to raise its profile to attract new analyst coverage and investors.

The Person

Interested candidates will offer a Degree in Corporate Communications (or similar) and a minimum of 6-7 years’ PR & Investor Relations experience whilst, ideally, offering a sound appreciation for Real Estate. You should possess strong presentation skills and an innate understanding of how best to deliver key messages to the financial world. Prior Investor Relations experience within a listed real estate company or REIT is preferred although all relevant applications will be considered. The appointed individual will relish a hands-on role and the empowerment to lead the IR function. Due to the need to engage with cross-border personnel, bi-lingual fluency of English and Mandarin is essential.
