The Company 

The organisation is a subsidiary of an exceptional international Group and which has enjoyed stellar growth across APAC whilst driving investment and development of industrial & logistics assets on behalf of its institutional investors. It has built a regional portfolio in excess of US$12bn whilst maintaining a similar appetite as the next bull cycle emerges in 2024. The platform now seeks to appoint an Investment Manager with near-term focus toward Singapore and potential long-term exposure to SE Asia.

The Position       

Based in Singapore, whilst reporting to the Country Head and Head of Transactions, the appointed individual will enjoy a role to lead the end-to-end of new investment transactions. This will include deal screening, financial feasibility studies, preparation of IC investment recommendations through to LOI, technical and commercial due diligence, terms negotiation and deal structuring. Activity will relate to asset acquisitions, land for development and potential JVs including the development and support of new venture conceptualisation. Whilst capital deployment is the primary responsibility, this will be underpinned by market research and data management with respect to the Singapore industrial sector and ongoing support to fund-raising by preparing information for pitch-books/prospectuses.

The Person 

Interested candidates will offer a good Degree in Real Estate/Finance/Economics and between 6-10+ years’ real estate investment experience with advanced financial modelling acumen (a CFA accreditation would be ideal) and sound end-to-end deal cycle and transactional experience. Prior exposure to Industrial or Logistics assets, including development assets, would be advantageous although relevant experience across other assets will be considered. A strong work ethic, desire for success and the ability to operate in a self-motivated manner is essential as the environment is fast-paced and focused toward ongoing growth. Equally critical is a successful track record of completed real estate transactions.
