  • Leading FMCG company.
  • Drive growth, innovation, and market expansion.
  • Strategic leadership role with regional exposure.

The Company

Our client is a leading FMCG organization in Myanmar with an established and growing portfolio across beverages, personal care, and consumer products. With continued investment in brand building, innovation, and market expansion, the organization is seeking a commercially driven marketing leader to strengthen category growth and elevate brand performance across multiple business units.

The Position

The Marketing Director will lead the overall marketing strategy and execution for the Beverage and Personal Care business units, overseeing brand growth, portfolio strategy, consumer engagement, innovation pipelines, and integrated marketing execution across the Myanmar market. Reporting to senior regional leadership, the role will drive the full spectrum of marketing activities from annual brand planning and category strategy through to activation, campaign execution, and commercial performance delivery.

This is a highly commercial leadership role with responsibility for strengthening brand equity, accelerating market share growth, improving A&P effectiveness, and enhancing consumer demand across multiple product categories. The successful candidate will work closely with Sales, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and regional stakeholders to develop integrated go-to-market strategies, optimize portfolio performance, and deliver impactful consumer campaigns across ATL, BTL, digital, retail, and channel activation platforms.

The role will also lead innovation and new product development initiatives, translating consumer and shopper insights into commercially viable growth opportunities. In addition, the position will oversee agency management, brand health tracking, budget management, and the development of a high-performing marketing organization capable of supporting long-term business growth within a highly competitive FMCG environment.

The Person

The successful candidate is likely to possess 12 - 15 years of progressive FMCG marketing experience, including significant exposure to beverages, personal care, food, or consumer product categories, with at least several years in a senior marketing or business unit leadership role. Strong experience within the Myanmar market and a deep understanding of GT-driven retail dynamics, consumer behavior, and localized marketing strategies will be highly valued.

Candidates should demonstrate strong brand management, portfolio strategy, innovation, and commercial marketing capabilities, with proven experience leading integrated campaigns, managing A&P investments, and partnering closely with cross-functional commercial teams. Exposure to new product launches, demand creation, agency management, and multi-channel brand activation is essential.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capability, commercial acumen, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Experience operating within fast-paced, entrepreneurial, or regional FMCG environments, alongside the ability to build and mentor strong marketing teams, will be viewed favorably.
