The Company 

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a heavyweight international real estate investor, developer and fund manager that has built a sizeable portfolio of assets across the Public and Private Markets. Noted for end-to-end integrated investment and development of industrial assets including pivots into data centres and renewables, the firm is bolstered by exceptional capital partners and which promises additional expansive organic and acquisitive growth in the coming years. In HK, there is now a need to appoint an experienced Project Director for Greenfield logistics warehouse development.

The Position

Reporting to the Country Head for Business Development & Investment, the appointed Project Director will play a pivotal role in defining, evaluating and delivering new warehouse logistic project investments in Hong Kong. The appointed individual will provide technical and commercial due diligence, planning, design and development, budget preparation and management, team leadership and coaching and close collaboration with BD (strategic initiatives, customized technical solutions for corporate tenants) and Fund and Asset Management colleagues (project progress reports and financial data including cost estimates and variance reports as well as associated shareholder, development, project and asset management agreements with counter-parties). The position will require the leadership of a project & development delivery team and the management of tender processes whilst, concurrently, rigorously reviewing and managing key financial, risk, safety and regulatory aspects for land and project development whilst closely collaborating with end customers for customised solutions.

The Person

Interested candidates will offer an appropriate Degree (Civil / Architecture) complete with between min 12 - 20 years’ max. experience within a Real Estate Investment & Development environment (project feasibility through design, planning, construction and delivery). Prior exposure to industrial/logistics assets is essential as well as managing financial, technical, safety and regulatory matters. A track record of delivering multiple profitable projects through the full development life-cycle will also be required. Current or prior experience gained in Hong Kong, Greater Bay area of China and other international markets is also strongly preferred. Interested individuals must offer strong English, Mandarin and Cantonese language proficiency.
