The Company

Our client is a well-established property development and investment group in Myanmar with a growing portfolio of residential and mixed-use developments. The organization is focused on strengthening its market position through enhanced branding, customer engagement, and disciplined commercial strategy. As part of its continued expansion, the group is seeking an experienced project leader to oversee major development projects across multiple phases.

The Position

This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle delivery of large-scale mixed-use developments from planning and design through to construction, commissioning, and handover. Reporting to executive leadership, the role will provide strategic oversight across all project functions including design management, procurement, construction execution, infrastructure coordination, commercial management, stakeholder engagement, and project controls.

The developments involve complex urban projects comprising luxury high-rise towers, premium residential components, hospitality-related assets, retail and lifestyle facilities, basement structures, and supporting infrastructure works. The role will lead multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The Person

The ideal candidate brings at least 20 years of experience delivering large-scale mixed-use and high-rise developments within developer, consultancy, or major contractor environments. Strong exposure to complex urban developments involving towers, basements, infrastructure, hospitality, and integrated commercial components will be highly regarded.

Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership capability, commercial acumen, and experience managing international consultants and contractors within structured project environments. Overseas experience or exposure to regional development projects across Asia would be advantageous. Strong English communication skills are essential, while familiarity with operating within the Myanmar market environment would be beneficial.
