Job description
Real Estate Investment Trust
Regional Commercial Portfolio
Strong Sponsor
The Company
The REIT platform is one of a number of Public and Private market business units with a strong parent as Sponsor. The group has invested in a broad range of assets whilst its integrated development arm is an additional source of potential deals. Consisting of a regional portfolio of Grade A assets (c$12bn AUM), an uplift of asset performance is anticipated as economic recovery continues post-Covid and post macro-headwinds. There is now a need to bolster the team to manage performance. This includes a need to appoint a Senior Analyst to support Asset Management.
The Position
Located in Singapore whilst supporting an APAC portfolio, the appointed individual will be thoroughly engaged in the full asset management life-cycle incorporating financial analysis, budgeting and reporting through to reviews of AEI initiatives (including cost-benefit analysis) and similar support to ESG/sustainability initiatives. The role will extend to competitor and sector market research and performance benchmarking, annual valuation exercises and, naturally, the ongoing review of rental revenue, occupancy/WALE and similar metrics at asset and portfolio levels. These will form the basis for monthly and quarterly reporting.
This suits a numerate individual in their early-career and who is keen to be exposed to a regional portfolio of assets whilst building end-to-end exposure to value creation initiatives and performance management.
The Person
Interested candidates are expected to offer a Degree in Real Estate, Finance or Business Administration) and around 2-3 years’ relevant real estate experience. Interested candidates should be highly self-motivated whilst offering exceptional financial modelling (Excel), communication and organisational skills and an ability to meet tight deadlines.
