The Company
The company is a well-established, highly progressive technology-focused company driven by a cosmopolitan senior management team offering significant international expertise. Having developed proprietary, patented technology, the company is the market leader in Myanmar whilst building a team of more than 2000 employees. It is now planning further growth into various international markets bolstered by significant institutional investment. To support its ongoing growth and long-term ambitions, there is an immediate requirement to appoint an experienced Vice President of FinTech and Lending to be part of its team.
The Position
Reporting to the CEO, the VP of FinTech and Lending will manage all the loan documents according to the business loan procedures and requirements. Whilst leading a well established team, the appointed individual will be responsible to ensure the operational processes are in compliance with IFRS and MFRS. He/She will be in-charge for the entire loan process implementation, providing financial/ other reports to the management and business partners in a timely manner.
The Person
To succeed in this role, you should have a degree in Accounting/ Finance or Business with at least 10 years of experience. You must have a strong background in microfinance operations and relationship management with solid experience in credit underwriting, credit assessment, credit analysis and credit reporting. Candidates should have strong communication skills, an analytical mind-set, problem solving abilities and a strong track record of leading a team. As this position is a permanent position located in Yangon, candidates must be Myanmar nationals offering excellent bi-lingual Burmese and English language skills.
