Very early in our journey, an initial, one-off property development appointment with a leading Myanmar company led to instant interest and captivation in the country and its long-term growth potential.
Enraptured by the natural charm of the country, its rich heritage and imminent re-emergence into the modern world following many years behind closed doors, we pivoted our business toward Myanmar, neighboring IndoChina markets of Vietnam and Cambodia as well as Philippines and Indonesia.
The need for high-quality, high-touch, consultative cross-functional cross-sector hiring solutions was very apparent. The opportunity to create positive economic impact added fuel to the mission. That first appointment spawned a veritable shopping list of additional hires by the same firm. One by one, these were similarly completed. The experience was exciting, exhilarating and hugely satisfying to all concerned. As our reputation in Myanmar grew, so did the proliferation of appointments across most industry sectors and functions. Today, we have completed more than 1000 senior appointments in Myanmar whilst supporting a broad array of local conglomerates, international firms and global powerhouses.
Furthermore, our Myanmar success has led to similar invitations of support to companies across the pan-SE Asia emerging markets. Whilst noted thanks and endorsements from the companies and individuals we have supported are extremely gratifying, the biggest thrill is the resounding impact we have made to the economic and physical landscape of the country. This thrill endures and acts as a further motivator for us to replicate our model of success across the region.
