As part of this growth, the organisation is seeking an experienced treasury leader to oversee Group-wide treasury operations, optimise liquidity, strengthen banking relationships, and support strategic funding initiatives across a complex multi-business environment. The Position The successful candidate will lead the Group Treasury function, taking responsibility for liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, working capital optimisation, funding strategy, and treasury governance across multiple business units. The role will ensure the Group maintains a strong liquidity position while supporting business growth, operational requirements, and long-term investment plans. Working closely with executive management, business unit finance teams, commercial banks, investors, and financial institutions, the successful candidate will develop funding solutions, negotiate financing facilities, manage banking relationships, and provide strategic recommendations on capital structure, financing, and investment decisions. Exposure to mergers and acquisitions, project financing, and corporate finance activities will form an important part of the role. The role will also drive treasury transformation by strengthening governance, risk management, treasury systems, and reporting capabilities. The successful candidate will lead initiatives to improve cash visibility, enhance forecasting accuracy, optimise debt structures, and establish best-practice treasury frameworks across the organisation. The Person The ideal candidate will possess at least 12 years of progressive finance experience, including significant exposure to treasury, corporate finance, banking, or financial management, together with a proven track record of leading treasury functions within a large corporate, holding company, or diversified business environment. Strong expertise in liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, working capital optimisation, debt financing, project financing, foreign exchange management, and banking relationship management is essential. Experience negotiating complex financing arrangements, managing financial risks, and supporting strategic investment decisions will be highly regarded. The successful candidate will be a commercially minded and influential finance leader with excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking, or a related discipline is expected, while postgraduate qualifications or professional certifications such as CFA, CTP, ACCA, CPA, CA, FRM, or CMA will be advantageous.
