Key responsibilities include: Portfolio Management & Investment Oversight Manage and monitor the performance of the group’s investment portfolio across multiple business entities Develop frameworks for evaluating investment returns, capital deployment, and portfolio performance Provide regular analysis and reporting on portfolio health, risk exposure, and investment performance Financial Analysis & Investment Evaluation Lead financial modeling, valuation analysis, and investment appraisal for new projects and strategic initiatives Evaluate potential investments, partnerships, acquisitions, and capital expansion opportunities Support scenario analysis and financial forecasting to guide strategic investment decisions Strategic Capital Allocation Work closely with senior leadership to develop disciplined capital allocation strategies aligned with long-term business objectives Provide financial insights to support infrastructure investments, operational expansion, and strategic partnerships Identify opportunities to optimize asset performance and enhance portfolio value Governance & Investment Reporting Establish structured investment review processes and reporting frameworks across the group Support investment committee discussions through robust financial analysis and strategic insights Ensure transparency and disciplined evaluation of investment decisions across the organization The Person The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline, with advanced qualifications such as CFA, MBA, or equivalent considered advantageous. He or she will bring 10 - 15 years of experience in investment management, corporate finance, financial analysis, or portfolio management, ideally within energy, infrastructure, trading, or capital-intensive industries. The successful candidate will have strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation, investment analysis, and portfolio performance management, with a proven ability to translate complex financial data into strategic insights for senior leadership. Prior exposure to emerging markets or the Myanmar business environment will be advantageous. The role requires strong analytical capability, commercial judgment, and the ability to operate in a dynamic business environment where disciplined capital deployment and strategic financial oversight are critical to growth.
