The Company

Our client is a leading real estate property developer with strong presence in Asia Pacific. Their developments have won them numerous awards and as a result, they have grown from strength to strength. As such, they are now looking for an Accountant to be part of their growth.

The Position

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the accounting records, full sets of accounts (AP, AR and GL), closing of month-end accounts, processing month-end journals and reconciling balance sheet accounts. There will be a need to prepare the consolidation of the group accounts, group reporting package and various management reports as well as revenue billing to the Funds and allocation of revenue to the respective business units. The accountant will be involved in annual income tax, quarterly GST and managing audit processes and be involved in any ad-hoc duties.

The Person

The ideal candidate should have a degree in Accountancy with at least 4 years of relevant experience.  Candidates from Big 4 audit firm with experience in auditing real estate/property/ fund management firms are welcome to apply. To succeed in this role, candidates should have strong communication skills, analytical and self-motivate and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
