The Company

The REIT consists of a portfolio of 50+ assets supported by a dynamic sponsor that offers scope for ongoing expansion via development and asset acquisitions. It boasts a very strong and stable senior management team whilst it plans to double its current AUM over the next 3 years. To support its ambitious growth plans whilst ensuring that its assets are well-managed and in a cutting-edge manner, there is now a need to appoint a suitably experienced Property Manager to drive productivity and ensure successful integration of innovations and sustainability programmes.

The Position

Reporting to a Director, the appointed individual will oversee the portfolio with a peer whilst taking responsibility for the continuous improvement of property management operations to drive performance, reduce cost and successfully integrate new technology and/or innovations that will create long-term value; the latter will include the evaluation and integration of process automation systems (AI, robotics and similar) as well as steering ESG-related projects to reduce utility costs, improve productivity and incorporate Green initiatives. Naturally, whilst driving technology and process, the appointed individual will also ensure standard property operations are executed to Best Practice whilst also meeting necessary ISO and EHS standards too. Commercially, there will be a requirement to review lease terms and ensure covenants are upheld whilst similarly ensuring that outsourced vendors meet KPIs with respect to service delivery. The role will also hold responsibility for OPEX/CAPEX budget preparation, management and reporting.

The Person

Interested candidates will offer an appropriate Degree (Building Services/Real Estate/Facilities/Estate Management) complete with 10+ years’ prior experience, preferably secured within a REIT or Fund environment and preferably offering prior exposure to industrial/logistics assets.
