The Company

The company is a Myanmar conglomerate in several core lines of businesses. The company now wishes to appoint a CEO to be based in Yangon to drive their transformation and restructuring project.

The Position

Reporting to the Chairman and Board, the CEO will be challenged to deliver strong P&L results complemented by a mission to grow the business. This will include a need to build, lead and motivate the operations, finance, and business development/ sales team. Naturally, the role will also require full responsibility for direction-setting, building a pipeline whilst managing and monitoring results for continuous operational improvement. There is also a need to cultivate a powerful brand reputation to reinforce the high-quality, premium product reputation of the business.

The Person

Interested candidates should ideally offer a Degree, a fluent command of English and a very strong record of sales and business leadership within results-driven environment. The appointed individual will demonstrate high energy, strong business development, sales ‘hunter’ and P&L management capability whilst demonstrating attention to service delivery and member feedback to build a strong and sustainable brand reputation.
