The company is a Private Equity-backed hospitality investor, developer and operator led by an experienced cosmopolitan management team. Combining entrepreneurial flair with significant investment capital, it is focused toward hospitality investment opportunities comprising portfolio acquisitions, resort development and the development and provision of branded hotel management services. As the world re-emerges from the Covid pandemic, the company is poised to renew its plans for expansion with focus toward the expansion of its three core brands. To support its growth, there is now a requirement to appoint an experienced Business Development professional to drive and secure Operator management contracts.
Based in HCMC or, potentially, Bangkok, whilst reporting to a seasoned, international CEO, the successful individual will be tasked with driving the origination and successful completion of hotel management contracts in both Thailand and Vietnam for three distinct brands (3/4/5-star). This will include a need to cultivate relationships with land-owners (new builds) and asset owners (brand conversions) whilst managing proposals, initial feasibility studies (location, re-branding and/or re-positioning and pricing). Naturally, there will be a requirement to collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure appropriate resources are applied to proposed/confirmed deals, in order to deliver and execute a full suite of hospitality services on behalf of the Owner.

Interested candidates will ideally offer a Degree in Real Estate, Finance or similarly related subject, whilst offering approximately 7-10 years’ post-graduate experience within a noted, internationally-branded hospitality operator and a record of originating and securing management contracts within SE Asia, particularly the target markets. It is expected that the successful individual will relish joining an entrepreneurial environment with a scope to grow a business (Vietnam, Thailand and additional markets within the next 2-3 years), whilst offering a well-honed network of contacts, industry knowledge and excellent communication / interpersonal skills. An ability to interpret financial information and apply critical, commercial thought processes to support proposed transactions will be essential. A hands-on, self-motivated and organised individual with a lively, inquiring mind and a flexible disposition will be essential.
