The company is an ambitious international company with Group headquarters based in SE Asia. In the USA, the firm consists of an operational contract manufacturing pharmaceutical plant that supports a Principal and, a second recently-completed fully-integrated facility dedicated to its core business dedicated to Nutraceuticals (vitamins/health) & OTC medicines and supplements (gels/tablets) with more than 300 FDA-approved SKUs – pills/tablets/capsules/creams - being shipped across the US and to SE Asia. The US business currently consists of a small, close-knit multicultural corporate team that now seeks massively grow sales revenue in the US & Canada markets whilst building a very strong foundation for forthcoming new product introduction.
The company wishes to appoint an energetic, action-oriented and results-driven Sales Manager.
Reporting to the CEO & VP, Sales, the appointed individual will play an important role to drive the commercial success of the company across the USA and Canada. Aside from providing strategic and sector know-how to secure acceptance by North American consumers, the appointed individual will be heavily focused toward driving multi-channel sales (direct sales, online, wholesale, Government and beyond) whilst concurrently building a strong commercial team. The role will be fully responsible for delivering revenue targets and all commercially-focused business planning, marketing and execution whilst identifying Brick & Mortar growth opportunities. This will include analysis of customer requirements, demand forecasts, product cost and appropriate distribution channels. In addition, there will be a concurrent drive to acquire new wholesalers, retailers, distributions partners and fulfilment houses whilst interfacing with in-house manufacturing and third-party OTC providers to align demand and supply factors.
Interested candidates should offer a Degree and, preferably, an MBA complemented by a wealth of relevant OTC / Nutraceuticals sales, commercial management and national sales leadership experience supported by demonstrable top- and bottom-line results. Possessing a ‘seize the moment’ character, the appointed individual will relish building a business, contributing to new product launches and creating a winning product portfolio that will be broadly accepted by North American consumers. The appointed individual will demonstrate a strong network of industry contacts, offer a hands-on and collaborative leadership style whilst demonstrating an ability to drive its multi-channel sales organization comprising retail/wholesale and e-commerce components.
In exchange the company will offer a competitive base salary and bonus components.
