The Company 

The organisation is a well-established, boutique Real Estate fund manager comprising Core, Opportunistic and Separate Account fund strategies and with a diversified portfolio of assets (logistics, office, retail, student accommodation, DC and hospitality) located across the first-tier APAC markets. The platform is looking to bolster its finance team including the appointment of an experienced Finance Manager. 

The Position       

Reporting to an expatriate Fund Manager and Group Head (Finance), the appointed individual will be responsible for the timely and accurate production of Fund Financial Statements, day-to-day management of the financial reporting process with third-party fund administration/external accounting service providers and the calculation of fund level returns (NAV and TER), unit/share prices, management and performance fees. Naturally there will be a need ensure tax compliance, under the fund tax structure, ensure cash management across the entire fund structure, process capital calls and the management of distribution and redemptions. The Finance Manager will update and manage the share register, date register of the directors/ authorised representatives and manage any SPV/ Fund liquidation processes. The role will also support bank financing, hedging of transactions whilst responding to ad-hoc enquires from internal and external shareholders including investors.

 The Person 

Interested candidates will offer a good Degree in Finance / Accounting with no less than 5 years’ of relevant working experience in with the Real Estate Industry (REIT, Fund Management, PERE, 3rd party fund administrator). Aside from strong financial management stewardship, the appointed individual must offer strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills and the confidence to professionally interact with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
