The Company

The company is a leading Microfinance (MFI) institution operating across Myanmar. Led by an international management team, the organization has grown rapidly and consistently. There is now a need to hire an Audit Manager to be part of their team 

The Position

Reporting and working closely with the Regional Audit Director based overseas, the Internal Audit Manager will lead a team of Internal Auditors in carrying out internal audit plans. Naturally this will include the preparation, reviewing, and issuing of Audit reports, ensuring all audit reports are adequately documented and submitted in a timely manner. There will be a need to build a strong working relationship with the CEO and the Management team as well as to provide guidance to a team of Internal Auditors. 

The Person

The ideal candidate should be a Chartered Accountant with an Accountancy or Finance Degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience ideally from the banking, microfinance or financial institution industry. Candidates should have strong communication skills, an analytical mind-set, problem solving abilities and a strong track record of leading a team.
