Headquartered in Singapore, whilst enjoying the support of noted Private Equity Real Estate (PERE) platforms, the company is at a tipping point for growth across SE Asia in the investment, development and operation of data centres. Steered by a seasoned, cosmopolitan management team, the company combines deep know-how across the real estate and data centre life-cycle whilst culturally nimble, entrepreneurial and empowering. It is poised to satisfy the growing demand for data across the region with anticipated rapid company growth during 2023/24 following the launch of its initial projects. As a result, there is now a need to build a core team including the appointment of an experienced Investment Analyst/Associate.

 

The Position       

Based in Singapore, whilst reporting to the COO and supporting investment strategy, the appointed individual will enjoy a hybrid role that will include research, investment feasibility studies, asset performance and investor relations. This will include focus toward new deal pipeline incorporating financial modelling and feasibility analysis including comparative benchmarking studies and the preparation of investment memos. There will be a need to oversee valuation exercises whilst also supporting transactions (tax, legal, banking). In addition, as the portfolio grows, there will be an accompanying need to prepare and present investor reports including asset performance. The role will include operational asset analysis to support performance improvement and guidance relating to asset management strategy.

The Person 

Interested candidates will offer a good Degree in Real Estate/Finance/Economics, ideally having embarked or completed a CFA accreditation and with strong cashflow modelling capability. Exposure to the evaluation and support of Data Centre, Logistics or Industrial assets is preferred whilst exposure supporting deal structuring to transaction completion is equally desired. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills are imperative. Aside from English, at least one Asian language is preferred due to the nature of the platform’s investment/development focus across ASEAN and beyond.

The company will offer a competitive salary (c$80-105k plus bonus).
