The Company

Undertaking real estate investment, development, asset and fund management of Greenfield/Brownfield industrial & logistics assets on behalf of institutional investors, to-date it has built a highly cosmopolitan team and a regional portfolio in excess of US$12bn. Its growth will continue apace throughout 2021 and beyond as the company enters new markets, such as Malaysia. A number of appointments are now required, including a Leasing & Marketing Manager.

 

The Position

Reporting to the Head of Business Development, the appointed individual will be KL-based whilst supporting the end to-end of the leasing and marketing function. Typical of RE Leasing & Marketing, the role will be focused toward maximizing asset occupancy and rental income. Broadly, the role will include sourcing of corporate occupiers and continuous development of tenant pipeline, relationship management of existing tenants including planning for expansion/consolidation through to terms negotiation for new and renewal contracts. Business development acumen will be required to identify opportunities for BTS (build-to-suit) and/or Sale Leaseback (SLB) opportunities whilst managing lease teams and covenants. Naturally, there will be an accompanying requirement to develop and manage a marketing budget whilst developing marketing collateral relating to the specific assets whilst also raising company brand awareness to target customers as well as among the property brokerage community too.

 

The Person 

Interested candidates will offer an appropriate Degree (Real Estate or Marketing) complete with 6-8 years’ prior experience within Leasing & Marketing or Business Development within the 3PL/4PL sector or, alternatively, within property agency (focused toward Industrial & Logistics assets). The successful individual will offer strong relationship management skills, commercial acumen and enjoy operating within a fast-paced, results- and solutions-driven environment that will require a combination of independence and team collaboration during different phases of the role.

 

In exchange the company will offer a salary in the region of MYR 250,000 – 280,000 plus benefits.
