The Company

The organisation is a dynamic, vertically-integrated investor, developer and operator of real estate assets with a broad listed/unlisted international portfolio located in Asia, Europe and Australia. Its successful and well-respected multi-brand Hospitality division comprises a 100+ asset portfolio of long-stay serviced residences. The post-pandemic re-bound of the hospitality sector is a powerful catalyst for APAC expansion and a desire to strengthen the team. This currently includes the proposed appointment of a Senior Business Development Manager.

 

The Position

Reporting to the Asia Head of Business Development, the appointed individual will be responsible for identifying opportunities for expansion across the region and the origination of leads for new projects. The priority will be toward securing new Management Contracts (Operator Agreements) across the APAC region that will strengthen the asset network and regional revenue across each brand segment whilst continuing to enhance its brand recognition. The end-to-end scope will include deal sourcing, marketing campaign management to the target audience, preparation of bid proposals, asset-level feasibility studies and due diligence, terms and price negotiation with asset Owners and the building of appropriate stakeholder relationships within the hospitality and real estate brokerage ecosystem.

 

The Person

Interested candidates will offer at least 5 years’ experience within Business Development to complement an appropriate Degree (Hospitality/Real Estate/Finance). This must include exposure to Hospitality Operator Management Contracts with a track record of success, whilst prior regional SE Asia exposure is also preferred. As such, interested candidates must be willing to travel, have a well-honed network of contacts, appropriate industry knowledge including the ability to interpret financial information and strong communication / interpersonal skills.
