The Company

The organisation is a regional real estate investor/developer. In Singapore it has built an impressive commercial and residential portfolio. Aside from the need to deliver current landmark projects, it has ambitious plans for ongoing selective growth. As a result, the firm has a pressing need to appoint a suitably-experienced, architecturally-trained Senior Project Management to steer multiple high-value development projects.

The Position

Operating within a vertically-integrated development environment, the appointed individual will provide senior leadership whilst steering a large project delivery team. The scope will include managing critical project responsibilities, milestone management and progress reporting (CEO and other key corporate stakeholders) for complex, high-value, mixed use projects. This will include architectural design (brief, concept, design standards, regulatory compliance, development feasibility advice) and key project management responsibility (tender exercises, collaboration with BD/Marketing regarding land acquisitions / use of space and design concepts, budget and cost management, programme and project planning and monitoring). There will be need to drive alignment of internal departments (Design, M&E, construction, BD, Marketing), the appointment, management and motivation of contractors, as well as external liaison with local authorities for planning and approval processes. In particular, the appointed individual will develop and implement forward-thinking design strategies whilst championing an environment of innovation and creativity as well as ensuring sustainability principles are incorporated into the design and construction process with ensuing data collection and sustainability reporting. 

The Person

Interested candidates will be architecturally-trained (Degree in Architecture or Design) and preferably underpinned by a Masters’ accreditation, complete with around 15-20 years’ relevant experience delivering high-value, high-spec, large-scale mixed use commercial and residential projects with experience gained within Singapore and international markets. A proven record of successfully-completed projects (full life-cycle with an ability to drive design and perform analysis of cost structures and feasibility studies), strong leadership, organisational and communication skills are all preferred traits and experience sought for this appointment.

Depending upon relevant experience, the company will offer an annual salary of around $230-250k +/-.
