Job description

  • Private Equity Real Estate
  • Expanding Regional Asset Portfolio
  • Salary: c$4,000 +/- per month

The Company

The company is a growing Private Equity Real Estate platform enjoying the benefit of a strong internal Sponsor with capital and resource support complemented by an array of Third-Party investors operating under separate accounts. The firm undertakes investment, development and asset management of core-plus and value-added assets, including recent high-profile deals in Australia to complement prior transactions in Singapore, UK and Japan. To-date it has built a portfolio in excess of $3bn AUM and with a robust appetite for further investments in Tier 1 cities over the next few years. To bolster the team, the firm wishes to appoint a Development Executive, primarily to support a forthcoming Greenfield Singapore CBD office development.

The Position

Reporting to a Senior Development Manager, the successful individual will have a superb opportunity to secure full life-cycle exposure for a new, ground-up, Greenfield development asset. This will commence at the planning and feasibility stage, through development of marketing (including showroom design, construction and fit-out), tender management and general oversight of the construction programme. Naturally, the role will include internal and external stakeholder management, milestone management and the co-ordination of consultants, preparation of architectural drawings in AutoCad built upon design brief, sketch and design specifications, the management and filing of drawings and interface with local authorities for submissions.

Although initial focus will be the successful execution of the Singapore CBD development project there are likely to be secondary projects that emerge including potential Brownfield re-development investments requiring asset enhancement (AEI). As such, the appointed individual will secure a superb grounding in full life-cycle new development as well as re-purposing of acquired assets whilst receiving ongoing mentoring and coaching by a seasoned industry professional.

The Person

Interested candidates will ideally offer a Degree in Architecture or Real Estate whilst offering around 2-3 years’ experience gained within a developer, architectural consultancy or contractor whilst offering strong working capability with respect to AutoCad, SketchUp and MS Office suite.

As the environment is particularly fast-paced, interested candidates must be self-motivated, well-organised and versatile whilst offering excellent interpersonal skills.
