The Company

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading Media company in Myanmar. The company operates a Myanmar TV Stations offering Multi-Play Services transmitting over 120 channels including international Pay-TV channels. With the increasing demand in the Media and Broadcasting business, they are now looking to appoint an experience Project Director to provide integrated direction, management, and leadership in the administrative and business planning, financial administration, reporting, monitoring and evaluation of all the automation efforts of a portfolio of major projects.

The Position

The Project Director will direct and integrate the activities of multiple, major project operations; ensures that project efforts are generally cohesive, consistent, and effective in supporting the company’s mission, goals, and strategic plan. The appointed individual will participate in and oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of individual project objectives as well as short-term/long-term plans. The Project Director is expected to manage and serve as principal liaison between project leadership, business leaders and operational stakeholders, and third-party vendors. He/She will also collaborate with leadership team and administration to establish programmatic goals and priorities for business and technology solutions to meet individual and organizational needs.

The Person

Interested candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (Project Management Diploma/Certificate preferred) and at least 7 years of relevant experience in project management and related duties/responsibilities. The successful candidate must have experience in re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures. Knowledge and understanding of the Project Management as well as financial planning and systems is also essential. The ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions with knowledge in current developments and trends in best practices, project management, and related technology are also important to be effective in this role.
