The Company

The company is a fast-growing Myanmar conglomerate operating across the real estate, construction and hospitality vertical including construction materials, Greenfield commercial and residential developments, trading and financial services. Given a plethora of current and forthcoming real estate development projects, the company has aggressive plans to hire mid- and senior-level professionals across a number of critical real estate, construction, property and facility management functions. This includes a need for an experienced Asset/Portfolio Manager.

The Position

Acting as the Owner’s representative with asset-level P&L responsibility, the appointed individual will manage operational, technical and commercial matters for the asset whilst leading and training an in-house team including leasing, property and facility executives. The scope of the position will include the establishment and management of asset-level budgets, the development of property and facility SOPs, the appointment and management of supporting vendors (M&E, landscaping, cleaning and security), the development and enforcement of estate/property house rules, daily and long-term maintenance planning and repairs, building safety as well as lease management rental income and tenant relationship management.

This is a role designed to enhance operational and financial performance of the property whilst developing SOPs and hiring, training and coaching a local team.

The Person

Interested candidates will offer an appropriate Degree (Real Estate, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or similar) and at least 8+ years relevant experience leading all aspects of building management, leasing and supporting operational processes including safety and risk management. Interested individuals should demonstrate very strong tenant relationship management acumen, particularly for corporate tenants and a sound appreciation for modern building management systems. He/She must also have relevant knowledge in project management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
