The Company 

A first-class opportunity to join a well-respected, first-tier, global real estate investor, very active and highly influential across the Asia markets whilst holding a strong capital allocation. It presently wishes to appoint a suitably experienced Capital Markets professional to support the growth of its Real Estate business in Japan and Korea.

The Position       

Based in either Tokyo or Seoul, whilst primarily covering the developed markets of Japan and Korea (but extending to wider geographical support on an ad hoc basis), the appointed individual will perform a key role in evaluating, structuring and funding LBO and other capital markets M&A transactions. Naturally, this will include acquisition deal analysis, the development of financial projections, pricing and structuring of proposed deals whilst overseeing debt and equity financing options and associated terms negotiation to ensure the value of strategic investments are maximised. The platform anticipates very strong growth in these markets and especially given a strategic push to re-balance its APAC portfolio.

The Person 

Interested candidates will offer a good Degree in Real Estate/Finance/Economics and no less than 8-10 years’ capital markets real estate investment experience secured within IB and PERE environments. Offering strategic acumen, strong modelling proficiency and a track record of completed M&A / LBO transactions, the appointed individual will offer strong institutional credentials matched by appropriate entrepreneurial drive and energy. Importantly, interested candidates should offer strong Japanese, Korean and English language communication skills.
