The Position
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the appointed individual will be responsible for planning, directing and controlling the delivery of cyber and information security services, to mitigate cyber & information security risks and security incidents. There will be a requirement to ensure the cyber and information security related projects are delivered on time and relevant controls are performed properly to the Bank’s standard procedures and regulatory requirements. The Head of Information Security will also assist in preparation of team budgeting proposals and perform any other duties as directed by the CTO.

The Company
The company is a prominent bank in Cambodia that is undergoing transformational change of its organization structure and processes whilst preparing for planned expansion and revenue growth. There is now a need to hire a Head of Information Security Department to play an integral role in the growth of the bank.
The Position
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the appointed individual will be responsible for planning, directing and controlling the delivery of cyber and information security services, to mitigate cyber & information security risks and security incidents. There will be a requirement to ensure the cyber and information security related projects are delivered on time and relevant controls are performed properly to the Bank’s standard procedures and regulatory requirements. The Head of Information Security will also assist in preparation of team budgeting proposals and perform any other duties as directed by the CTO.
The Person
Interested candidates will offer a relevant Degree with at least 10 years technology experience with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership position within cyber/ information security services. Current or prior exposure to a banking/financial services environment will be strongly preferred. It is expected that interested candidates will offer strong technical and business-minded expertise matched by a punchy and pro-active working style. There is a high expectation that the successful candidate will offer excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
