The Company

Our client is a well-established manufacturing group operating large-scale manufacturing and factory operations in Myanmar. The business runs high-volume, process-driven production facilities and maintains strong standards across safety, quality, and operational discipline. As the business continues to grow and focus on operational excellence, there is now a need to appoint an experienced Assistant Factory Manager to be based on onsite.

The Position

The Assistant Factory Manager supports the Factory Manager in overseeing day-to-day factory operations, ensuring production targets are met efficiently while maintaining strict standards for safety, quality, cost control, and workforce management. This is a hands-on leadership role with strong exposure to production planning, shop-floor execution, continuous improvement initiatives, and cross-functional coordination.

The role plays a key part in driving productivity, reducing waste, enforcing safety and quality compliance, and supporting the development of supervisors and production teams within a structured manufacturing environment.

The Person

The ideal candidate brings solid experience in factory or plant operations within manufacturing, FMCG, food processing, or Agri-processing environments. They will have strong hands-on exposure to production management, operational KPIs, safety and quality systems, and people leadership on the shop floor. A practical, disciplined, and solutions-oriented leadership style is essential, along with the ability to work closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams.
