The Company

Our client is a well-established multinational agribusiness and food manufacturing group with integrated operations across edible oils, grains, and FMCG production in Myanmar. The organization operates within a structured corporate environment and maintains strong standards in financial governance, reporting, and performance management. To support further growth and maintain strong financial acumen, the company is now hiring a well experienced Financial Analyst to join the finance team.

The Position

Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Analyst will support the finance function through financial planning, analysis, and management reporting, providing insights that support informed decision-making across the business. The role is responsible for preparing monthly management reports, conducting variance and trend analysis, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.

This position works closely with operations and commercial teams to analyze cost structures, monitor performance against targets, and develop financial models that support operational and strategic initiatives. The role also contributes to process improvement, reporting automation, and ad-hoc analysis to enhance financial visibility and control.

The Person

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline, with solid experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or management reporting within a structured corporate or manufacturing environment. Strong Excel and financial modelling skills are essential, along with the ability to interpret data and translate analysis into clear business insights.

Candidates with exposure to ERP systems, performance dashboards, and cross-functional finance support will be well suited to this role. A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are key success factors.
