The Company

Our client is a large, diversified manufacturing and distribution group operating a complex, multi-site business across Myanmar. The organization runs integrated operations covering production, supply chain, logistics, and commercial activities, with strong links to regional and global platforms. The business places high emphasis on disciplined financial planning, data-driven decision-making, and long-term strategic execution within a dynamic market environment.

The Position

This role sits at the core of business planning and performance management, acting as a trusted finance partner to senior functional leaders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-term strategic planning, ensuring alignment with business priorities and local market realities.
• Delivering robust monthly management reporting, including P&L analysis, variance analysis, cost tracking, and margin optimization.
• Supporting pricing, cost allocation, and scenario modelling (FX, logistics, cost volatility) to drive informed decision-making.
• Partnering closely with operational and commercial teams to evaluate investments, projects, and digital initiatives through ROI and financial modelling.
• Driving continuous improvement in FP&A processes, systems, and analytical tools, including ERP and BI enhancements.

The Person

The ideal candidate is a commercially minded FP&A professional with strong analytical depth and the ability to influence stakeholders.

Key requirements include:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; CPA / ACCA or equivalent professional qualification strongly preferred.
• Minimum 7+ years’ experience in FP&A or commercial finance roles, ideally within FMCG, manufacturing, or large-scale group environments.
• Strong hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and management reporting.
• Solid exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Excel / BI tools.
• Strong communication skills in English and Burmese, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights.
• Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, evolving market environment.
