The Company

Our client is a well-established pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution group with nationwide operations. The business is undergoing a phase of sustained growth and organizational development, operating modern facilities, an extensive distribution network, and a large workforce supporting the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical and healthcare products across the country.
As the organization continues to evolve and strengthen its corporate capabilities, it is now seeking an experienced Group Head of HR to lead its HR function and drive people strategy across all business units.

The Position

Reporting to senior leadership, the Group Head of HR will lead the overall HR strategy, organizational development roadmap, and people management framework for the Group. This role will oversee all HR pillars, including talent acquisition, workforce planning, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and HR compliance.

The appointed individual will develop and refine HR policies, standards, and SOPs to ensure a consistent and efficient HR operating model across multiple business units. Responsibilities include strengthening recruitment processes, building leadership capability, improving performance management systems, driving training effectiveness, and ensuring competitive and fair reward structures.

The role will promote a positive organizational culture, oversee grievance and disciplinary procedures, and implement initiatives that enhance employee engagement and retention. Additionally, the position will ensure adherence to labor regulations, audit requirements, and internal compliance expectations, while leading continuous improvement and supporting broader organizational transformation initiatives.

The Person

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant Bachelor's Degree, with postgraduate qualifications in HR or Business considered an advantage. Candidates should offer substantial HR leadership experience within medium to large organisations, with strong exposure to core HR functions such as recruitment, performance management, employee relations, training, and compensation.

Experience in environments involving structured processes, multi-entity operations, or regulatory standards (e.g., ISO or similar frameworks) will be highly regarded. The role requires a strategic thinker who is also operationally hands-on, with strong communication, leadership capability, and the ability to guide HR transformation across a diverse workforce. Fluency in English is required.
