The Company

As it strengthens its regional leadership team, there is now a tremendous opportunity to join the organisation as Head of Human Resources, East Asia. The Position

Reporting to the CEO (East Asia), the Head of HR, East Asia will lead the strategic and operational people agenda across multiple countries including Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. The role carries responsibility for aligning HR strategies with business objectives, driving organisational transformation, and ensuring compliance with regional labour laws and global HR frameworks.

Key priorities include developing and executing regional HR strategy, strengthening leadership development, succession planning, and talent acquisition while driving cultural excellence and engagement. The appointed leader will spearhead compensation and benefits harmonisation, employee relations, DEI initiatives, and HR process transformation through technology and analytics. The individual will also serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, shaping a culture of performance, accountability, and CARE across diverse markets.

The Person

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned HR executive with at least 15 years of progressive experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a regional or multinational leadership capacity. Demonstrated success in managing cross-cultural teams, navigating complex regulatory environments, and aligning HR strategy to business goals will be essential.

You will bring strong interpersonal, communication, and change leadership capabilities, along with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead transformation initiatives across functions and geographies. Experience in travel, assistance, or service-oriented industries will be highly regarded. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline is required. Fluency in English is essential; additional Asian languages will be an advantage .
