The Position

This is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and executing the overall marketing strategy across brands, channels, and markets. The Head of Marketing will lead end-to-end brand, retail, and consumer marketing activities, ensuring strong on-the-ground execution while building more structured and data-driven marketing capability.

The role oversees brand strategy, trade and retail marketing, promotional planning, pricing support, consumer insights, and marketing communications. A core focus is balancing hands-on manual marketing execution across nationwide retail networks with the effective use of digital marketing platforms, tools, and analytics. The position works closely with Sales, Distribution, and Operations teams to ensure marketing initiatives directly support route-to-market effectiveness and revenue growth. The Head of Marketing will also lead, develop, and mentor the marketing team, while managing agencies, partners, and marketing budgets.

The Person

The ideal candidate brings extensive marketing leadership experience within manufacturing, FMCG, or distribution-driven businesses, with a strong emphasis on retail and trade marketing. They have a proven track record of managing nationwide campaigns, in-store execution, and consumer promotions, while also being comfortable leading digital marketing initiatives across social media, online platforms, and data-driven channels.

The successful candidate is commercially minded, execution-focused, and able to operate effectively in fast-paced and evolving environments. They possess strong leadership capability, are comfortable working cross-functionally, and can translate strategic direction into practical, measurable outcomes. Fluency in Myanmar language is essential, with strong English communication skills required to engage senior stakeholders and external partners.
