The Company

Our client is a one-stop service provider specialized in the lubricant industry, operating an integrated business model across Myanmar. The organization covers the full value chain, including raw material procurement, product formulation and design, blending and manufacturing, packaging, warehousing, distribution, and logistics solutions. With a strong emphasis on operational discipline, quality consistency, and supply-chain efficiency, the business continues to invest in strengthening its manufacturing leadership to support scalable and reliable operations.

The Position

This role holds full responsibility for end-to-end plant operations, providing leadership across production, quality, safety, and people management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading daily lubricant blending and manufacturing operations to achieve production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Developing, implementing, and enforcing operational policies, SOPs, and shop-floor controls across production and packaging activities.
  • Managing manpower planning, recruitment, training, and performance management of factory teams.
  • Partnering closely with quality teams to ensure product consistency, compliance, and adherence to internal standards.
  • Overseeing plant budgeting, reporting, cost control, and operational performance monitoring.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives, root-cause analysis, and corrective action plans across manufacturing processes.
  • Ensuring equipment reliability, preventive maintenance effectiveness, and optimal utilization of plant capacity.

The Person

The ideal candidate is a hands-on manufacturing leader with strong operational discipline and people management capability.

Key requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in factory or plant operations, with proven leadership at managerial or supervisory level.
  • Strong understanding of production planning, inventory control, quality systems, and operational KPIs.
  • Solid exposure to budgeting, cost control, and basic financial management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in lubricant, chemical, FMCG, or process-driven manufacturing environments is highly advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Myanmar.
  • Structured, resilient, and capable of leading teams in a performance-driven manufacturing setting.
