The Company

Our client is a well-established multinational agri-business and food manufacturing group operating large-scale, process-driven production facilities in Myanmar. The business follows strong global standards across safety, quality, and operational excellence, with integrated operations spanning raw material processing and FMCG manufacturing. To support the business, they are now hiring a Production Manager to be based on one of their factories.

The Position

Reporting to the Factory Manager, the Production Manager is responsible for leading day-to-day production operations at a factory site, ensuring output targets are achieved efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, cost control, and manpower productivity. Reporting to senior factory leadership, the role oversees production planning, execution, and performance monitoring across shifts.

This role plays a critical part in optimizing throughput, reducing waste and downtime, enforcing SOPs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Production Manager works closely with maintenance, quality, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and consistent compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. This is a hands-on, site-based leadership role with strong shop-floor presence.

The Person

The ideal candidate brings solid experience in manufacturing or factory-based production management, preferably within food processing, FMCG, agribusiness, or high-volume processing environments. They will have strong exposure to production planning, KPI management, safety and quality systems, and leading supervisors and shift teams.

A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Industrial Management, or a related discipline is required. The successful candidate will demonstrate a practical leadership style, strong problem-solving ability, and the discipline to drive performance in a structured manufacturing environment.
