The Company 

Headquartered in Europe, the company develops, operates and maintains AI-controlled heating-cooling solutions for large-scale commercial and industrial buildings. With an ongoing commitment to R&D and a highly collaborative solutions-driven business model, the firm helps its high-profile international clients to consume energy in a smarter, efficient and low-cost manner whilst positively reducing carbon footprint to support Net Zero targets. The company wishes to complement its European success story with accelerated growth across Asia and, consequently, it seeks the appointment of a regional Head of Sales. 

The Position       

Based in Singapore, whilst reporting to the C-suite leadership team, the appointed individual will drive regional business development and sales growth, cultivating new opportunities and overseeing successful conversion. There will be a need to gradually hire, lead and inspire a regional sales team (in Singapore and regional markets) whilst retaining a very hands-on role as ‘hunter’ and key account manager covering end-to-end market intelligence, prospecting, delivery of presentations, sales negotiation and after-sales support and engagement. Whilst 90% of the role will be sales-focused, there will be a minor requirement to provide general supervisory and office co-ordination support to the implementation and operations team.

The Person 

Interested candidates will probably offer a good Degree although a proven track record in direct B2B solution sales is more important. Natural sales acumen, inner drive and solid leadership/supervisory experience are key characteristics. Prior SE Asia or full regional sales experience will be preferred complemented by excellent communication and negotiation skills. Entrepreneurial zest will be appreciated. Whilst an interest to drive sustainable ‘real asset’ energy-efficient solutions will be advantageous, prior exposure to this sector is unimportant relative to a proven record and ‘punchy’ drive.

Interested individuals should have current or prior experience in Asia whilst worldly experience gained in other international markets (Europe/US/ANZ) may be desirable.
