The Company

The company is a market-leading vertically-integrated petrochemicals producer offering exceptional upstream and downstream capabilities complemented by a sophisticated supply network. The company seeks high-performing employees and who are typically drawn to the company by its offering of challenging and rewarding work and its social conscience. The company has created an iconic Centre dedicated to the arts, science and innovation comprising museums, art gallery, innovation and ideas laboratory, fixed and visiting exhibits, library, theatre, F&B and more. A national treasure, it celebrates human potential and is designed to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs whilst enriching the minds of visitors from young to old. It now seeks an experienced Arts & Culture Specialist to support the ongoing development, integration and business management of those specific components.

The Position

The appointed individual will research local and international arts/culture trends that will impact the positioning and ongoing evolution of the Centre whilst strategically advising management with respect to associated business matters relating to the Arts and Culture components. This will include establishing an agenda for the ongoing design, development and integration of its art and design activities – art installations, art and design competitions – to create vibrant, institutionally-recognised programmes, exhibitions and community engagement. Necessarily, the appointed individual will monitor and absorb the progress of art and culture across the nation whilst determining future adjustments to the Centre programmes, exhibits and projects and their ongoing integration.

This is an outstanding opportunity to participate in the development of an enriching ‘experiential’ Centre that aims to inspire, embolden and liberalise its visitors whilst also acting as a torchbearer for knowledge and creativity.

The Person

Interested candidates should offer a Degree in Business Administration or International Communication and at least 15+ years’ experience in a similar cultural and support services organisation supported by vast experience in strategy / KPI development and consultation services.
