Job description

  • Private Equity Real Estate
  • Multi-product Environment
  • Location: Singapore

The Company

The organisation is a well-established boutique Private Equity Real Estate investor and fund manager with a diversified portfolio of assets (logistics, office, retail, student accommodation, residential) located across the developed APAC markets. The platform enjoys a positive track record whilst expanding its products across core/opportunistic and separate account funds. As it continues to grow AUM, the firm is now keen to appoint an enterprising Associate or Director to join the team.

The Position

Reporting to the Head of Investor Relations with a dotted line to a seasoned Fund Manager, whilst operating within a small, close-knit team, the appointed individual will hold a primary responsibility to support the end-to-end of capital-raising and investor relationship management for a well-established open-ended fund whilst also supporting its broader fund and separate account portfolio. This will consist of hunting for new institutional investors whilst planning and participating in investor roadshows, building appropriate materials, arranging asset tours, supporting the new investor due diligence protocol as well as investor/client servicing; the latter will include managing communications including Fund/product updates and quarterly performance updates whilst also providing insight with respect to deal pipelines and the investment outlook for the region. The appointed individual will build relationships with external consultants whilst responding to proposed fund/project/funding proposals and building appropriate responses to RFI/RFP requests. The scope is likely to extend to product development for new Fund/Separate account mandates.

Why consider this position: this a well-rounded, cradle-to-grave capital-raising, product development and client relationship management position within an entrepreneurial, nimble and highly sociable environment.

The Person

Interested candidates will offer a good Degree (Real Estate, Finance/Economics, Marketing & Communications) around 10+ years working experience and around 3-5+ years exposure to institutional / LP fund-raising (pension funds, insurance groups, multi-managers and similar) preferably including broad international coverage. This will have been secured within a Private Equity Real Estate platform underpinned by a sound appreciation for real estate fund management.
